Certified Nursing Assistant
At Malixi Health Training Services, we offer a two-part training program for those who are interested to start their healthcare career as a Nurse Aide.
CNA Training Program Part 1
This portion of the training includes classroom interaction and discussion. With this training, students are instructed on various nursing aide aspects such as patient care. We utilize effective teaching tools such as traditional lecture, audio guides, videos, and return demonstrations.
CNA Training Program Part 2
This portion of the training immediately follows the classroom training. This is also referred to as the students’ externship, wherein they will be given assignments for clinical training. At this point, students will be working with patients in an actual healthcare facility. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the nurse aide will apply their learning in attending to the patient’s needs. The supervising RN is also the school staff who is at the same time licensed by the Texas State Education Department as a Primary Nurse Assistant Instructor. In this training, every RN Instructor will only have 10 students at most to fully address effective instruction in a personalized way. In this externship training, the nurse aide will work alongside other nurse aides, licensed nurses, and the rest of the healthcare professionals present in the training.
